| What if I'm not very flexible, can I still do the yoga? |

One of Birkam's sayings is ,"Never too late, never too bad, never too old, and never too sick to do my yoga!"
So, it is never to late to start yoga. In fact, if you think you're not very flexible, then you should
come to yoga even more then someone that is more flexible, because you will see a huge difference in your
body and flexibility after practicing Bikram Yoga regularly.

| Why is the practice room heated up so much?* |
|
The room is heated to protect muscles and allow for deeper stretching, detoxify the body (open pores to
let toxins out), thin the blood to clear the circulatory system, increase heart rate for better
cardiovascular workout, improve strength by putting muscle tissue in optimal state for reorganization,
and reorganize lipids (fat) in the muscular structure.

| How hot does the practice room really get?* |
|
We try and keep the room at the recommended temperature and humidity of 105 degrees and about 60% humidity.
When the heat and humidity or optimal it helps keep the body from overheating and puts the body at an
optimal state to receive the maximum benefits from the yoga.

| How long will it take before I see results?* |
|
Your progress in Bikram yoga will depend on "the honest
time and effort you give to Yoga. It will have little to do with how
'perfectly' you can do the poses. (Few of us ever do the poses
'perfectly.') Instead, it will have to do with how well you understand
what you are trying to accomplish in each pose, how honestly you try to
accomplish your goal, and how supple your muscles and joints have become
in comparison to the point at which you began. In Yoga there is no standard
of comparison except yourself. Perfect is the best you can do that day."

| How many calories does one yoga class burn?* |
|
Based on the calculator on Self Magazine, we burn between 550-1000 calories per class. The amount of calories burned depends on many factors--your
gender, size, weight, body type, and present condition. There are devices available that can help
you determine how many calories you burn in an exercise session.
